Tomorrow is Election Day!

For almost a year now, our campaign has been working hard to let Houstonians know that Gene Locke is the only candidate with the experience and vision bring Houston together and lead this city forward.

Gene has spoken with many of you at countless forums and in hundreds of neighborhoods across our great city. Now it is up to you, the voter, to show Houston who you think is the best person to lead our city by getting out the vote tomorrow. It is up to you, Gene's friends and supporters, to reach out to your friends and neighbors and tell them they need to go vote so we can elect Gene Locke, the best candidate, as Houston's next mayor.

Gene is "public safety's candidate for mayor," backed by both the Houston Police Officers' Union and Houston Professional Fire Fighters Association - the largest public safety groups in the region. He strongly believes "Houston cannot be a great city if it is not a safe city," and promises to put more officers on our streets without raising taxes.

Gene has the most in-depth and broad range of experience in bringing jobs to Houston, revitalizing downtown, improving neighborhoods throughout the city, and improving our quality of life. He has shown his genuine passion and commitment to Houston by serving in many ways. As a private citizen and a professional businessman, Gene supports the arts, cultural museums and events, and sports venues because he understands that they stimulate our economy and bring money to Houston...and he knows from experience that they can be funded through public/private partnerships without raising taxes.
